Robin Nicholson, Manager of Sports Venues
Duke Energy, Charlotte, NC
With more than 27 years of experience in the electric utility industry, specializing in functions related to customer information, billings and customer relations from both the regulated and unregulated position, Robin now directs the Sports Marketing functions at Duke Energy. In this role, she is responsible for the overall direction of the business entertainment functions at various events, primarily throughout the Carolinas and the Midwest region served by Duke Energy.
Robin graduated from Catawba Valley Community College with an AAS in Accounting in 1981. She then continued her education and in 1985 received her B.S. in Accounting from Pfeiffer College.
Robin has worked with numerous non-profit groups including the Red Cross as a member of the Apheresis Committee, the American Cancer Society/Relay for Life events, and various state and local 4-H Club responsibilities including the Youth Advisory Council for Lincoln County 4-H and 4-H Electric Congress.
